THE LATE SHOW'S GOSPEL CHOIR'S TRIUMPHANT TOUR OF SPAIN

The Late Show's Gospel Choir recently returned from a triumphant tour of 10 beautiful cities of Spain singing at the most elegant concert halls which were jam-packed with enthusiastic fans who love Gospel music. The SRO crowds were moved by the Choir's powerful harmonies, and they rocked in their seats and clapped along to the lively beat every song. Awesome experience!

This outstanding Choir touched the crowds with gloriously unique a cappella renditions of old Negro Spirituals and hymns. They basically sung the history of African American religious music, from the old spirituals to hymns to down-home traditional Gospel songs to pumped-up urban Gospel songs that had the excited crowds dancing in the seats.

When the Choir returned to the stage after their first encore, Lady Peachena led "Oh Happy Day!" and the entire crowd stood up singing the song. AMAZING! Since most of them do not even speak English, this was truly an incredible moment. After Lady P. & the Choir walked offstage, they got such a thunderous, roof-shaking ovation that they had to return to the stage to sing another song. This time they sang "Stay In The Will of the Lord," which is on Lady Peachena's newest cd, "I'll Never Let Go Of My Faith!" (It's available on www.itunes.com, or www.cdbaby.com/ladypeachena.) The Late Show's Gospel Choir's New Single CD

The Late Show's Gospel Choir has just released its first single CD, "Dancing In The Spirit," on the Platinum Peachtree label. This Grammy-nominated song was written by Lady Peachena, and was originally recorded by Ron Winan's Family & Friend Choir in '88, with Marvin Winans as lead singer. As a matter of fact, the entire Winan's family sang "Dancing In The Spirit, on the 1989 Grammy Award's telecast on CBS TV. Now Lady Peachena sings this hot song with the Late Show's Gospel Choir.

Last month, Lady Peachena and some members of The Late Show's Gospel Choir were featured singing in Showtime's new TV show, "THE BIG C," the week of October 25th, 2010. Lady Peachena was cast as Gabourey Sidibe's Choir Director, and she sang and directed songs "Down By The Riverside," & "Dancing In The Spirit."
